Independent Nominating Petition Form
Tuesday, December 28, 2021 is the first day individuals may sign independent nominating petitions. The number of signatures collected must be at least 5% of registered voters, which is 15 in the Village of Freeville. Completed independent nominating petitions must be submitted to the Clerk between February 1 and February 8th 2022. Casella Garbage Tag Price Increase

Updated Village Fee Schedule
The Village Fee Schedule was updated at the July 6, 2021 Board of Trustees meeting. The updated schedule may be found here.
Partial Rail Trail Closure July 19th-20th
The Rail Trail will be closed between the Freeville Garage on DPW Drive and the Sewer Plant all day Monday July 19th and Tuesday July 20th. The closure is due to tree trimming on power lines. For your safety, please refrain from using the trail during this closure. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Schedule Change for July Planning Board Meeting
Please note that in order to accomodate Member schedules, the July Planning Board Meeting will take place one week early, Tuesday, July 20. The meeting will be held at 7pm at the Village Hall.
PB Meetings are typically held on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Legal Notice – Tax Warrant
VILLAGE OF FREEVILLE
TAX WARRANT 2021
TO: Tax Collector
YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to receive and collect from the several persons named in the tax roll hereunto annexed, the several sums stated in the last column hereof opposite their respective names, being a total of $121,161.00 for the tax levy of 2021-2022 and also the delinquent sewer bills totaling $7,621.50 for a total collection of $128,782.50.
YOU ARE FURTHER COMMANDED to receive and collect such sums without additional charge between the first day of June and the first day of July 2021, both inclusive, and thereafter to collect with such of the sums as have not been theretofore collected an additional charge of five percent (5%) for the first month or fraction thereof and one percent (1%) for each month or fraction thereof thereafter until November 1, 2021.
YOU ARE FURTHER COMMANDED to return the tax roll and warrant to the Board of Trustees on or before the first Tuesday of November 2021 and to deliver at the same time an account of the taxes remaining due and unpaid, describing each parcel of real property upon which taxes are unpaid showing as to each parcel the amount of tax unpaid. These unpaid taxes will be forwarded to the County by November 15, 2021, to be re-levied on the County Tax Rolls.
