Freeville Community Council Winter Potluck

A message from the Freeville Community Council:

Check your calendar! Remember the Freeville Community Council invites you to join your friends and neighbors for a colorful community potluck dinner.

Saturday, Feb 1st from 5-7pm (dinner at 6pm)
Social Hall of the Freeville Methodist Church

Bring a dish to share and your own utensils/bowl/plate. Hot and cold beverages will be provided.

This event will feature the work of local writer and artist Rachel Dickinson. We will start with an art activity for kids from 5 to 5:30, followed by Rachel’s program called “Freeville Houses”. Rachel has spent the last several months choosing and then painting portraits of ten of Freeville’s houses. She’ll show you the portraits, talk about the process, and explain why she chose these particular buildings to paint.

This project was funded, in part, by the 2024 New York State Rural and Traditional Arts Fellowship program, which receives funding from the New York State Governor’s Office and the New York State Council for the Arts (NYSCA).
